"PK Movie" has released in December month and has retained has a huge hit at box office. The movie has grossed "663 Crores collection world wide" and now it is entering into "China" also. Makers of the film has decided to release the movie in Chinese language. Earlier "3 Idiots" movie is also released in China and has become a huge hit there.
"Rajkumar Hirani" is the writer and director of the movie and "Aamir Khan" has played the title role. "Vidhu Vinod Chopra" has produced the film along with "UTV Motion Pictures" and "Raju Hirani Films".
Now the news is that this film is entering in South India also. Not as a direct film but as a remake to the original script. Sources say that "PK movie rights" has been sold at a fancy price. "Gemini Film Circuit" has acquired the rights in south and they wanted to do the remake with the "Universal Actor Kamal Hassan". Yes that's true. Kamal Hassan has been contacted with the title role and he is thinking about the role and Director and other Technicians for movie are yet to be finalised.
At present he is busy with his three films "Vishwaroopam 2" and "Utthama Villian" and "Malayalam Film Drushyam" remake in Tamil. "Vishwaroopam 2" is being directed by "Kamal Hassan himself", and "Drushyam" movie is been directed by "Jeethu Joseph" and "Utthama Villian is directed by Ramesh Arvind" which are slated to release this year. After this the PK remake will go on floors.
Earlier, Gemini film circuit has acquired the rights of "Munnabhai MBBS" and "3 Idiots" which were directed by "Raju Hirani". "Munnabahai MBBS" has been remade into Tamil and Telugu languages where "Megastar Chiranjeevi" has been in title role in Telugu and "Kamal Hassan" in Tamil. And "Vijay" has been in title role in "3 Idiots". All the movies where decent hits at the box office, This way the makers are thinking that this remake also will be a huge hit at the box office
