I Movie Review: 

Story:

The opening shot portrays a hunchback(Vikram) who kidnaps heroine Diya(Amy Jackson) and secures her up a confined spot. The film then portrays the story of Lingesan, played by Vikram, a body bulder who strives to become Mr. Andhara  to accordingly get to be Mr. India. 

At the point when Lingesan gets a chance to meet Diya, a renowned model he immediately succumbs to her however doesn't express his affection rather he acquaints himself with Diya as her fan.

Artists Performance:

Vikram: He has given his heart, body and 3-years of his life for 'I'. May be, No other Indian actor would have gone to this extent for the sake of a single project. He is just flawless in 'I' - Accomplishes the task of multiple makeovers perfectly, Performs brilliantly in roles which offer huge scope and Exhibits excellence in action blocks. Hats off to this Great Actor! Amy Jackson: She has got amazing screen presence and looks stunningly gorgeous throughout the course of the movie. Her attitude and chemistry with Vikram were a must watch. Santhanam tickles the funny bone at times. Upen Patel is ineffective. Rest of the cast is adequate.

Analysis:

Shankar, the only Tamil director with Rs 30 crore market in Telugu States, tests his fortune with 'I' Today. A back & forth technique has been chosen for narration of flashback and present times, forming two parallel layers. Shankar took almost 2 hours to reveal the actual point and its too late by that time.
AR Rahman's songs were pretty decent but what makes the difference is picturization in visually spectacular locations. Background Score is highly promising. PC Sreeram is a genius to say the least and the credit for making 'I' a visual feast goes to him. Dialogues were good. Stunts have been choreographed very well. Editing is poor and at least 15-20 minutes in second half could have been chopped off. Visual Effects were topnotch. Production Values are mind blowing. 

While the First Half is partly enjoyable with sizzling chemistry between lead pair, couple of songs and eye-popping portions shot in China, Second Half tests the patience of audience with more or less appearing like a routine revenge drama and there is nothing special except for Vikram's arresting performance as disfigured man. Major drawbacks of 'I' - Below Par Second Half, Excessive Run Time & Gang of Villains who doesn't appear menacing at all. To finish off, 'I' is technically brilliant but not on par with Shankar's past works in terms of story and screenplay.

 Box Office: 'I' received second biggest release ever for a dubbed flick (700-plus screens for Telugu version). Theatrical Rights were sold out for a bomb and hence recovery isn't going to be easy with pretty poor word of mouth even though openings could be extraordinary because of the fantastic pre-release buzz. 

I 3rd Day (Friday)  Box Office Collection | Ai Total 3 Days Worldwide Business

 The new tamil movie I that have been released on the box office on 14th january 2015. the I (Ai) had opened on the box office with the bang. on the opening day or 1st day the I had done bumper opening on the box office worldwide. as per the report on the opening day or wednesday the I have made the total box office collection of Rs.36 crore worldwide. the audience had really liked the I movie on the box office. on the 2nd day as well the Ai had done the great earning on the domestic box office. as per the report the I had done the  total earning of Rs.8 crore only in the AP. All over the india, the I had made the total business of Rs.28 crore after the end of the 2nd day show of the I movie. after the end of the 2 days show the I (Ai) had done the total box office collection of Rs.74.4 crore in just 2 days.

 ‘I’ is the upcoming movie Tamil movie starring Chiyaan Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The movie is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Recent, theatrical trailer of the Tamil version has amazed the cine lovers who are eagerly waiting for the movie to release. Also, the movie’s Hindi trailer is going viral. Basic Plot:

Shankar’s “I” which facing release issues for the past few days has been cleared. Aascar Fil Pvt.Ltd has cleared all the issues that has been linked with the movie release and announced the release on Pongal i.e 14 January officially.

Before the release of the movie, it created many records in the YouTube with the record number of YouTube views for a trailer in the south India. “I” Official trailer is viewed by more than Five million people and the teaser got more than ten million views. I is the first south film to get viewed by 5 Million people and it was first movie for getting 1 Crore views to the Teaser. “I” became the talk of the town in the Indian film industry as the visuals and dialogues in trailer are much impressive. Shankar’s “I” is releasing in three languages Tamil,Telugu and Hindi on Pongal subsequently.

“I” sets up huge expectations to audience in all the industries, as the technical team and the production values that has been put in the film made it more interesting to the audience.Cinematography handled by PC Sree Ram has already got great response after watching the trailer of the movie. A R Rahman’s music is also a great plus for the movie, the music of the album turned into chart busters in the iTunes. Vikram, the male lead of the film is undoubtedly the best actors in India. The hard work he put into his role shows the dedication towards the films. Vikram will be shown in 3 roles in the film. As the movie is releasing on pongal, the advance bookings for the movie has already started in the chennai and many places in India. The movie is expected to do well in the first week and expected to earn 100 crores in the first week on it’s release. As there is no movie which give good competition to “I”, considering the Pongal season and lack of movies it can easily surpass the records of Robo. It also has great advantage as it is releasing on Telugu and Hindi on the same day.  Telugu rights of the movie had sold at whooping 27 crores. As the movie has already got hype from all sort of audience it is possibly do good even in overseas too. As it was Shankar’s movie, the film will attract all the audience and can be watchable with the family.
